Ever Try a Clif Bar? It's a Great and Tasty Way to Supplement Your Diet, Especially If Your Always On the Go
Supplements are everywhere you turn these days. People are in constant search of convenient meals, nutritious alternatives, and ways to add protein to their diet.
I, personally, am actually obsessed with healthy supplements. They make life so much easier in my opinion. Ten years ago you couldn't have simply grabbed a supplement bar and ate it for a balanced lunch.
This concept wasn't evolved enough yet. Nowadays, on the other hand, you can make a choice between numerous bars, shakes and snacks. The Clif bar, Met-RX bar, Pure Protein bar, Zone Perfect bar, and Luna bars are just some, that I recommend. Check out the nutrition/supplement isle in any large grocery store. You'll encounter a deluge of modern-day supplements, and have no idea where to even begin.
As I mentioned before, I love nutritional supplements. I have been consuming them for around 5 years. So naturally I have my favorites. Since I lift weights and fight to maintain my weight, I prefer something a bit heavier than a Clif bar. Don't get me wrong though. I ate these babies all through college. I couldn't begin to tell you how many Clif bars I've purchased in my life.
However, I can tell you that my favorite is chocolate chip. Those are tasty! Anyway, now that I'm through with college life, I no longer look for that quick lunch supplement. I now like to indulge in supplements between meals.
This is a great way to put on mass with weight training or simply maintain your weight. Some of us struggle to do this. When it comes to modern-day supplement bars, I prefer the Met-RX Big 100 Colossal bars. These are basically the equivalent to a meal. Think 30 grams of protein, 45 grams of carbs, 400 calories and a bunch of vitamins.
It's something to build your body and keep you metabolism going. The standard Clif bar on the other hand is more like an energy bar. It's ideal for camping trips, nature walks, rock climbing adventures, and other outdoor activities. The Clif bar is a good tasting supplement that will give your body a boost.
It all comes down to what you're looking for. Do you want your supplements to be high in protein and low in carbs; or maybe high in carbs but low in fat? There are products available for all these demands. Head out to your local grocer or health food store and have a look. And don't forget to try that chocolate chip Clif bar while you're at it.
